Medical Disclaimer — Please Read Before Using NutriPlan NutriPlan is a diet-planning aid. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The weekly plans, calorie/nutrient values, and calculator results (including the Calorie & Weight Calculator and the CKD Protein Calculator) are general estimates based on standard formulas and reference data — not personalized clinical calculations. They are not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified physician, nephrologist, or registered dietician. This is especially critical for chronic kidney disease, where safe nutrition depends heavily on your specific stage, dialysis status, and lab values. Always confirm any plan or calculated target with your treating doctor or dietician before following it, and seek prompt medical attention for any health concern rather than relying on this app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the NutriPlan mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. NutriPlan is developed and published by HomiLabs ("we," "us," "our").

2. Description of Service

NutriPlan is a bilingual (English/Urdu) weekly diet-planning application built around everyday Pakistani foods, offering dietician-authored weekly meal plans for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, chronic kidney disease, and thyroid disease, a searchable Pakistani food calorie counter, a custom plan builder, a calorie/weight calculator, a CKD protein calculator, and print-ready PDF export of your finalized plan.

3. Eligibility

NutriPlan is intended for users aged 16 and older and is not directed at children, consistent with our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information (age, sex, height, weight, activity level, conditions) — the App's plans and calculators rely on this information to produce meaningful results.
Guest/browse mode does not create an account and does not sync or save your data across devices.
If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, delete it immediately from Settings (see Delete My Account) and, if you wish, create a new one.

5. Your Data & Content

Information you enter into the App (profile details, condition selections, preferences, food log entries, lab values you choose to enter) is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the information you provide; you grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the App as described in that policy.

6. Content Accuracy

The food database in NutriPlan is built from standard nutrition composition references and ingredient-level estimates for common Pakistani foods and dishes — it is not laboratory- verified data. Weekly meal templates are authored to be clinically plausible starting points and are subject to ongoing review, but individual nutrient needs vary by person and condition. We make reasonable efforts to keep this content accurate and current but do not warrant its completeness, precision, or suitability for any individual's specific medical situation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code except as permitted by law;
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, backend infrastructure, or other users' access;
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App or its food database at scale without our written permission;
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person when creating an account.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, software, the NutriPlan name and logo, and the curated weekly meal plan content, is owned by HomiLabs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform for authentication and data storage, and Google Sign-In as an optional login method. Your use of these features is also subject to Google's own terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party infrastructure outside our control.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any nutrient values, calculated targets, or meal plans are free from inaccuracy, given the estimate-based nature of the underlying data described in Section 6.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HomiLabs and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of health, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, your reliance on any content, plan, or calculated value within it, or any decision made based on information provided by the App. This limitation applies especially to dietary decisions made for chronic kidney disease or any other condition without first consulting a qualified healthcare professional, as advised throughout the App and in Section 6 of this document.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time — see Delete My Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App's features, or for legal/regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide notice within the App before the change takes effect. Continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

15. Contact Us

NutriPlan does not currently offer a dedicated support inbox. Current developer contact details are always published on our Google Play Store listing, which Google requires us to keep accurate.
